Khloe Kardashian, like star-studded tenants before her (Paris, Nicole, Tatum) was placed in the Lynwood, CA jail for women and stayed all of two hours and fifty-three minutes of her 30-day sentence for violating her probation after being booked for a DUI…YAWN….tell me something I don’t know.
You know what, I’d rather do a piece on Ed McMahon’s neck injury and elderly abuse lawsuit - so over these young Holly-Hoe Lightly’s and their addictive behavior – deemed fine, as long as its all caught on camera and boosts ratings or sales or whatever they’re currently pushing.

Hmmmm – lets do a little math..
In parenthesis place this first addend – the New Yorker does not subscribe to any particular wing of the political spectrum – they comfortingly ride the middle lane; and, regardless of the views of their writers, artists, op-ed columnists, even the editors, they tend to bring all stories to the forefront, flattering or career ending PLUS -
The cover depicts Obama as the Ayotollah and Michelle as Assata or Angela or some other gun-toting, female radical of the 70′s with an American flag toasting in the fireplace under a large portrait of Osama – in the Oval Office by the way; with such an inflammatory cover, you would think that inside you’d find a KKK advertisement for a discounted 10-step lynching kit – close parenthesis and MULTIPLY BY -
Now, granted, Ryan Lizza is no fan of the Obama campaign – in so many words, Ryan calls Barack a snake oil salesman with chameleon-like abilities to metamorphis and adapt to any political climate that suits him. Damn, Ryan – what do you really think of the senator? Granted, these are my words but you can bet your buttons that he basically said the same thing.

Barry, obviously taking his cue from veteran spin doctors, tries to do a little damage control and (quite brilliantly) declares that he was actually depicting all of the stereotypes that have plagued the Obama’s since they came to town. Pundits and columnists alike claim that this campaign is mirthless – literally. Op-ed columnist Maureen Dowd penned a (stupid) article this week coined May We mock, Barack? She opines that is is very difficult to ridicule the Senator because of the race card and his charisma, decidely un-buffoonish traits that make it hard to rib him like candidates of the past who were, well, buffoons (shout out to Vice President Dan Dumbass Quail, king of the ass-backwards remark).
Look, Obama is plenty funny – he has delivered some of the best one liners I have ever seen on any stage – we’re talking about the guy who did a Jay-Z like brush your shoulders off when it came time to address Hilary’s Histrionics!
I digress. This cover, coupled with the article, screams inflammatory predjudice and derision – its just wrong. Unfortunately, its also within the constitutional rights of anyone to have these opinions and publish them – Hello, Roulaila?!
Anyhoo, I was annoyed but not much – this is only the beginning people, its about to get hot up in here. He is, tee hee, playing a little joke on the newbies interning at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey’s EMS program. The newbies hail from Northeastern University and were, allegedly, the victims of a hazing incident. The ringleaders, Timothy Prahm (Dangle), Henry Solares and Thomas Hart were fired over the heinous episode.

What do you see in the photo above? Do you see two individuals being held down, tortured, roped into sheets, hands bound and crosses thrust into them against their will? N-yoooo, you see two docile little lambs, patiently enduring sheet primping. Now, had the rest of the incident gone as purportedly planned and the students been dropped off on Martin Luther King Blvd, perhaps then they would’ve been distressed, grievously offended and traumatized as other reports indicated they are because they would have had their natural white asses beaten all the way back to Boston. Why didn’t they go directly to the authorities after it happened and speak up? Why did it take a cell photo to surface approximately two weeks after the episode? Did they think they were auditioning for the medical school play, Casper, DOA?
Cmon world, get a grip. The only reason why these students, paramedics and institutions are incensed is because it came out – period. Yes, I’m sure they were being hazed but to what degree? Had the crosses been shoved up their butts? Were the sheets soaked in dog piss? What I’m intimating is that this scene tells the story as truthfully as it will ever be told – they may not have been down with the program but they certainly weren’t making any calls to the NAACP afterwards, either.

Asking for a divorce is a disgrace to the family. Hmmph-but not marrying off your little girl? Luckily Nujood had an Aunt with some sense who gave her bus money to take her request to court.
Ali’s parents claim they just asked 30 something year old to ‘raise’ her. Yeah right – She had a wedding ceremony complete with gifts and a ring! They really took the groom on his word that he would not sleep with his wife until she reached puberty. Yeah ok.
How long had they known this man anyway to ask him to ‘raise’ their child?? Liars. Thank God for Shada Nasser, a human rights lawyer who took Ali’s case for free. Providing even a place for her to stay during the trial to keep her safe and treat her like a child. Ali won her case but because of this twisted law-was ordered to pay for the divorce preceedings. Another lawyer paid for her.
Even the judge had to ask this loser groom, “You could not find any other woman to marry in all of Yemen?”
Seems as though they come a dime a dozen in Yemen – Young daughters sold to the highest bidder for their youth. Damn shame on you parents! Not even helping your child when she informs you that she is being abused?? Unforgiving.

Chilling in a Brooklyn apartment, knawing on a chicken bone like the ignorant, stereotypical negro he is, Kenneth Duckett was taken into custody by a Newark police officer working for the Federal Marshalls posing as an electrician and several other officers determined to take the fugitive down.
The trail initially went cold in New Jersey but thanks to public, law officials were tipped off that a person fitting Duckett’s description in Flatbush was seen heading into the apartment on Troy Avenue.
Hopefully, Kenny will be bunking with a large, angry, skinhead homosexual at the Fed Hotel.

Head’s Up Miami: Do NOT Call FEMA
Should Hurricane Bertha do its thing in the extreme in the coming days, please don’t sit on your rooftops awaiting rescue from FEMA – cuz they aint comin’.
According to recent follow up stories, FEMA hasn’t even made good on their promises to deliver supplies, aid and medical necessities to Katrina victims some 90 years later – kidding, but not really. How long has it been since the hurricane destroyed the Gulf Coast? Two years, folks. And the good ole boys down at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (or my acronym for it, Forget Even Marginal Assistance) have yet to help out the scores of families in the region still struggling to rebuild their homes, lives and neighborhoods.
In case you’re unaware, FEMA is also responsible for reading their crystal balls and telling the good citizens of the decimated town of Gulfport, Illinois (pictured above and consequently re-named Atlantis) that they were “protected by a levee rated to stand a 100 yr flood” and would not need flood insurance since the majority of the residents couldn’t afford it anyway. Talk about foolproof risk assessment – Proof that fools shouldn’t be assessing risk. Dumbasses.
PS, the levees broke, the town flooded and damn near nobody has insurance to cover the damages. Thanks again, feeble FEMA, you’re awesome.

Savage Serb Flees City with Aide of Serbian Pols

The hulking Miladin Kovacevic is, hopefully, awaiting extradition in his native Serbia after being whisked away with the aide of Igor Milosevic, Serbian Vice Consul General. Milosevic, it is alleged, produced an emergency “replacement” passport for the SUNY-Binghamton ball player after putting up $100,000 bail.
What is this Incredible Shmuck accused of? Pummeling 135-pound Bryan Steinhauer into a bloody, toothless pulp at a local Binghamton bar. Bryan was thought to have palmed the ass of pretty Melissa Cartagena, girlfriend of Kovacevik’s pal Sanel Softic.
To be fair, police reports indicate that Steinhauer groped Cartagena, head-butted Softic and took a swing at Miladin – obnoxiously drunk, I will grant you – possibly even in need of a can of whoop-ass served properly; but did these actions actually justify the skull-cracking, brain-bleeding, coma-inducing battering Bryan received?
I would have to lean towards a resounding No in this situation – when a 260-pound man steps in and utterly obliterates someone almost 3x smaller with no remorse, (remorseless quote: “It doesn’t matter. It happened,” he said, according to a statement from friend Emir Karic. “Don’t talk about it. We’ll see what happens tomorrow.”) you would tend to think excessive force had been used and on purpose. And not only did they leave the scene of the crime, Gargantua took it a step further and left the entire country – gangsta.
Serbian Consul General Slobodan Nenadovic told the NY Post that he is contemplating resignation because of this terrible incident – and your friend too, Slob! Igor bounced to Belgrade right after bankrolling Kovacevic’s disappearing act.
If there is any justice in the world, they will both be brought back to the Big Apple to be stripped of all immunity and dignity like the rest of the criminals.

Rou, yet another tragedy – yet another life extinguished as people idly sit back and let it happen. I honestly cannot fathom how we, as people of color, are deemed so expendable on this earth..

Not only did Esmin Green die a humiliating death, but what is even more debasing to her surviving family and (hopefully) disgraceful to Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, she was left for an hour on the floor while security guards and hospital employees basically stepped over her prostrate form and went about the business of their day.
Allegedly, hospital records of her visit and demise have been falsified to indicate Green was up and about during the time period when she was actually expiring.
As is normally the case, eyewitness employees have been terminated and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
I’m sure the family is SO greatful to the administration for implementing new protocols that will bring in new employees and mandate that all ER patients be checked every 15 minutes.
So we should tell Esmin that she did not die in vain? I think not.

L, when I first saw this on CNN I was sitting with my mouth wide open. I watched it over and over again because every time I felt like something different may happen. No such luck. The guard didn’t even feel the need to lift his behind off his chair to see what was happening with this poor woman. Forget fired, these fools need to be brought up on charges of neglect or something, not able to get jobs if it isn’t Mickey D’s or something. This is a hard pill to swallow that this could easily have been a family member of mine. What in the world did he think she was doing on the floor face down like that. SMH I can’t even imagine.

62 year old Joe Horn decided to take the law into his own hands and murder two men. Of course he doesn’t pay for it in the slightest. These men were allegedly robbing his neighbors home – he calls 911 to tell them-TELL them- that he’s about to kill the two men. The 911 operator urges him not to go outside at ALL and wait for authorities. He decides not to wait – so he goes outside with a shotgun-obviously confronts the two men, two black men, and kills them. Shoots them in the back. This is actually strange since he claims he was defending himself after the men stepped onto his property and confronted him. Yeah right Sir. How in the hell would they confront you when you’re toting a shotgun??? And how, pray tell, would they get shot in the BACK during a confrontation??????? They’ve got some redneck – yeah I said it and I ain’t apologizing – redneck law that says you can protect your neighbors property if they ask you to – I think calling the police was sufficient enough bruh – not MURDER!!! I mean, WTF?? They were taking STUFF – Did these men murder anyone?? Not that we know of. Even if that were so this dude had no right to be Were they dead wrong for robbing this house?? Absolutely! But who in the world told this man that this was his duty?? I guess since the police get away with murder now it’s a friggin’ free for all for everybody!!! Another dumb ass jury finding somebody innocent that’s guilty as sin. RIP Sean Bell.

19 year old Ronnie Lionel White of Laurel- charged of first degree murder of running over police officer – 39 year old Corporal Richard Fidley on June 27th with a pickup truck – is found dead in Police custody. Again – another body at the hands of the law. White was found in his cell unconscious. The medical examiner has ruled this as a homicide.
Granted this guy here IS charged with murder. And I guess it was the police that killed this time. So it’s okay right? What is going on??? When did the Police get this out of hand??

So this past weekend was NY Pride – but I found little to be proud about!
My first experience with Pride was as a fresh-faced 20-something hetero – my boyfriend thought it would be fun to expose me to all things Gay – more than 10 years later, the joke continues to be on him. The experience piqued my curiousity to a fever pitch and the rest is herstory.
Where was I? Ah, yes, Pride. People, I don’t know what you remember, but I remember traipsing (freely) up and down Christopher street, I remember parading in and out of Nanny’s for all day drinks and disco and I recall the beautiful black and white business men who, for one day, would put on feathers, eyelashes, leather and lipstick and be fabulous! They intrigued us, they excited us, they made us feel like we were a member of some secret society – it was amazing!
Now?!
Chile I was clutching my purse and pearls through the miniscule portion of the experience I dared attend live. Aside from the fact that you are herded through the street like drunk, segregated cattle by every police officer in the state of New York, (PS, the Gay Parade is historically the largest and least violent in the state to date, go figure) the tiny tots parading pass my dinner table on 7th kept my mouth so agape that I could barely concentrate on eating or the conversation at my table! I mean, parents, are you smarter than your 5th grader? Apparently not because they snuck out of the house in rainbow panties and were popping ecstasy unbeknownst to you all Sunday night! I was and still am appalled at what I saw! People, I’m talking babies in attendance – and they were loud, mean, rude and just a heated urban mess. At the point where we were just over saturated with visuals and ready to pack it in, we got ringside tickets to a homestyle beatdown the likes of which you haven’t seen since that terrible cheerleader beating on Youtube – and it was a feminine (questionable) child whooping the behind of a more or less aggressive girl – how do you stomp someone in flip-flops?
All I can say is my little feelings are so hurt over what Pride has become – next year they really need to formalize a committee on renaming the event – Gay Shame or perhaps NYC Gay Dive?

Laila! You know that’s why I couldn’t even bring myself to get on the PATH to the Christopher Street station this Pride. Walking around the world and ay yi yi yi just to get around this parade is totally annoying. Not to mention, as you have mentioned, all of these children running around that you almost feel responsible for- LIke is this the example that we’ve set for our younger brothers and sisters??? These children are seriously loud, rude and disrespectful. I know we were young when we came out but I don’t EVER remember our crowd being like that! I DO remember the fine gay men dressed to the 9′s with impeccable shape ups and moustaches trimmed to the T! The pier was grimy and dirty but we had the BEST time!!! Femme queens vogueing, Drag queens walking the imaginary runway, Fingers wagging while the crowd is yelling, “FIERCE!!” I haven’t felt that kind of energy from the parade in years.

Alledgedly, Portugal is calling off the search for little Madeleine McCann, the lovely, then 3 year old girl from England who went missing last May while on Holiday with her parents and younger twin brother and sister.
Initially named as suspects, Kate and Jerry McCann launched their own international investigation into their daughter’s disappearance and, though not officially cleared, the McCanns returned to England with their remaining children and continue to search for their daughter.
From England, yall? And would suspects do anything BUT employ an army of investigators to make it look good?
Recall that the McCann’s were dining with friends while their children, without supervision, slept in their vacation apartment, some 100 yards away. Kate would check on the children every 30 minutes (timeframe quoted) – what?! The wife checked the children, not the husband – why? Could it be just in case she ran into the kidnappers and it would be a given that she could not overtake them since she was a woman? And how the hell does one seize a child during perfect thirty minute intervals? If you’re that good, you could’ve gotten 3 for the price of one, no?
If anyone is willing to bankroll my trip to Portugal to investigate this heinous missing persons crime, e me. I know, I know, I am such a pessimist when it comes to this type of stuff – maybe because if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck..

God rest the soul of Monica Paul, 31, unsuspecting victim, loving mother of two. Last night, Ms. Paul took her children to the YMCA in Montclair, NJ for weekly swimming classes – it would be her last outing with them.
While her 4-yr old son swam and her 11-yr old daughter stayed by her side, their father, certified slime, Kenneth Duckett, 37, saw his perfect opportunity to take the life of a woman who no longer wanted anything to do with him – in the presence of her children and a multitude of other families, with multiple gun shots.
Essex County (Token) Prosecutor Paula T. Dow, praised the Montclair PD for doing an excellent job.. all due respect Pros. Dow, of what? Establishing a crime scene? Clearing out the Y after the gunshots? Because they most assuredly did not do a stellar job at protecting Monica or her children from the senseless homicide. Dow also indicated that authorities are searching for an accomplice said to have left the scene with Duckett in a white Jeep.
What is with black, male assailants and white getaway vehicles?
A history of violence between the two, Monica had taken out a restraining order against Duckett in 2007 – as most media outlets and Lifetime movies will tell you, this is a useless piece of drivel that more or less protects the police department in your hood should you turn up beat completely down or, in most cases, DOA – it documents the mounting violence against you and the fact that the police know about it and will DEFINTELY do something about it if the fanatic lunatic stalking you does it again – fantastic.

How many times does a husband become disenchanted with his marriage? How many times does he get into financial straits and take desperate measures to remove himself from said straits? How many crimes of passion are committed due to infidelity or some imagined misstep along the road of holy matrimony?
Too many to count on all accounts but what is also becoming an alarmingly increasing number is the number of callous crimes committed by husbands against their wives and children! Why? Once you’ve robbed the child of their maternal unit, what is the purpose of then robbing the remaining grief stricken family of what is left of the deceased?!
I will never get the Scott Petersons, the Drew Petersons (must run in the family) and, now, the Neil Entwistle’s of the world – whether your wife is pregnant or your baby is lying, quite alive, snuggling in bed with her mom as you take their lives, what type of cold, calculating inhumane psyche does it take to carry out such atrocities and have the audacity to maintain your innocence through the entire ordeal?
I don’t know but Lord, if you’re listening, could you please toss the mold for these folks? Thanks.

This morning I’m reading about thirty seven year old Kenneth Anton Duckett of Orange New Jersey who decides to show up at the YMCA where his ex-wife and two children are. He proceeds to open fire on her in FRONT of their children and other innocent children. Then he flees. Please do a full story on this.
I mean, do we say at least he spared the kids?? What kind of mind do you have to have to kill someone you once loved? The Mother of your children?? I don’t think there’s enough jail time or a quick enough needle to truly punish the cowards the way they should be. A public stoning should do.

May ’08: Jack Vondras, Gloucester Public Health Director, tells the Boston Globe that “More students are coming in and asking about pregnancy testing, what’s odd is that some of them are disappointed because they’re not getting pregnant.”
June 19th: Time magazine breaks the story, straight out of Principal Joe Sullivan’s office, that an unusual ‘spike’ in teen pregnancy at Gloucester High School is due to a pact made by the majority of its 17 pregnant teens – quadruple the number of girls “normally” pregnant during one school year – normal, though? It is brought to light that the girls were so desperate to become impregnated that one even haphazardly chose a homeless man to do the deed.
June 23rd: The Gloucester Mafia shuts it DOWN with a press conference straight outta Compton – Mayor Carolyn Kirk basically calls the principal a liar and a pothead (memory was ‘cloudy’) and employs terrorist tactics to interrogate counselors, teachers, butchers, bakers and candlestick makers (SIKE re butchers n bakers) basically anyone who came in contact with the teens to diffuse the story and say that they knew of no such pact – she tops it off with a dig at already embattled lame duck President Bush by saying federal funds spent on the No Child Left Behind act should have been funneled towards Health Education and that’s why these little ladies are preggers.
Superintendent Chris Farmer (pictured here with gas and as the Mayor’s Bitch), in a quote that would do The Riddler proud, says that a specific group of girls in the High School, being tested regularly for pregnancy (is this Gloucester’s form of steroids??) was “Not trying hard Not to get pregnant..” WTF does that mean Farm-boy??
June 24th: Mom-to-be Lindsey Oliver, 17, on Good Morning America with 20yr old boyfriend Andrew Tsalidas, denies pact ever existed, says it was more like a bad coincidence and the only pact that was made was amongst the girls to remain friends and help each other thru raising the children..awwww, how sweet.
Look, real talk:
This town, outside of being the basis for “The Perfect Storm” has not been a success story – their economy is a wreck, they were granted funding that never came thru, the two socio-economic agencies created to combat teen pregnancy, Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy (locally) and the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy (nationally) CLEARLY do not make frequent stops for fish dinners in Gloucester. These girls are desperate, bored and ill-equiped for the future. Are their parents paying attention to their extra-curricular activities if the majority of their time is spent on highways brandishing “Will Work For Food” signs??
Is this a NEW problem, America, or is this just another problem of Urban amerikka previously swept under the rug and attributed to poorly educated negroidian girls, that has finally bled into white bread town and is now receiving national exposure since its affecting pristine little white girls (shout out to Jamie Lynn) and PWT? I’ve got a secret for you folks – this is not new, 17 is not a record number and Gloucester is not the new sodom and gomorrah – this is Urban reality and the only time mainstream Americans become up in arms over an issue is when its affecting the geraniums at their back door! Its about time the kidgloves came off when it comes to dealing with high school caucasians – when’s the last time you saw studies conducted on why they insist on shooting up their peers? They are just as, if not MORE, troubled as our babies and I, for on, am skipping to the lou my darling over the fact that the lid was blown off of this ludicrously spun pact story and the truth laid bare; stop trying to make it seem like it had to be some occult phenomena that more than one of your children are not virgins. Please, Principal Joe? Couldn’t happen on your watch so you cooked up this whole fictitious folderol, huh? Mind you, Joe is currently on vacation, destined for a pink slip and the Gloucester unemployment agency upon return, I’m sure.
I was a Gloucester Girl – no, don’t hail from the town but did have a baby as a teen – shout out to Aznhar, one of the most beautiful beings God ever created, inside and out – and while it was difficult and a major challenge to not become a statistic, we made it. The challenge for Massachusettes and every other state on the map where teenage children are having sex, DUH, is to educate them, challenge them, employ their parents for pete’s sake – Obama, add it to your shortlist please.

Modern Day Polygamy – its closer than you think boys and girls..
Ok so unless you are a moron in a cave (or mormon at a rave – same difference. JK!) you know that Yearning For Zion is not a new Lauren Hill track. Its the 1700-acre happy town that just had a project style raid in April. John Q. Law did one of the biggest swoop downs in sect/cult history and snatched 462 children, aged 17 and under. The frenchbraids were flying and the overalls were pumping but nobody could prevent the seizing of the children, believed to be in real physical and sexual danger…Kudos to yet another Child Welfare Agency for screwing up bigtime – shout out to Newark’s A(hole) Team of crack DYFS investigators.
